We recommend using a caddy or a wheeled bin, depending on how much food waste you produce. You may place your 40L caddy directly on the street, and we will collect this from your workplace.
All food waste produced must be recycled to remain compliant with legislation. We recommend a ‘small volume’ collection using our 40L caddy, although you can still purchase a wheeled bin.
Yes. From March 2025, food waste collections are mandatory for businesses in the UK. For micro-businesses with less than 10 employees, this will come into force in March 2027.
Food waste is any discarded or uneaten food, from either the production, retail, or consumer levels. It includes food that is spoiled, expired, or uneaten due to over-preparation or improper storage.
