  • Dry mixed recycling is a vital practice that not only simplifies waste management but also plays a crucial role in promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact. By implementing effective recycling practices, organisations can contribute positively to their communities and the planet.

  • Yes. Items should be rinsed and/or wiped so they are free from food or grease, otherwise they will contaminate the rest of the recycling.

  • Paper towels have a water absorbent agent which means it can only be recycled through a specialist process, so therefore must be separated from other materials. We provide a separate paper towel recycling service.

  • Flexible plastics encompass a wide variety of plastic types, only some of which can be recycled. They are difficult to separate from Mixed Recycling, and therefore contaminate this material. Our Circular Box service was designed to recycle these materials.

  • Glass breaks in the sorting process, posing a health risk to workers, and may damage the sorting equipment and reduce the quality of other recycled materials.
