Running a Successful Green Team

Wednesday 4th March 2015

Recently, we held our first knowledge swap of the year. We were looking at green teams and how they can be successful. First off we split into smaller groups and were given the task of thinking about the types of challenges green teams face. These included things like: lack of time, apathetic senior management and lack of resources. Following this, the groups swapped challenges and came up with solutions to each of the problems.

The solutions included items like identifying a member of senior management to sponsor and manage the green team, have regular meetings to update one another on progress and focus on achieving simple, visible goals.

We hold knowledge swaps like these throughout the year and topics vary each time. Other subjects include how to write an environmental policy and tips on saving water and energy. To find out more, keep an eye on your inbox for an invite, or you can contact us at info@paper-round.co.uk.
