Thursday 28th April 2016
It’s events season here at BPR Group: we recently hosted a knowledge swap on green teams, held an open day at our recycling facility and coming up, we’ve got a special event for those who look after waste in the hospitality sector, our annual event for customers at London Zoo, and we’ll be exhibiting at the Facilities Show in June.
This week we wanted to let you know about our plans for the Facilities Show. Now in its third year, the Facilities Show enables you to meet the companies behind the products and services you’ve come to rely on, all in one place. Registration is free, you can sign up on their website here. Impressively, the Facilities Show:
- Attracts over 11,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors and will give you the opportunity to strengthen your network of contacts.
- Is co-located with IFSEC International, FIREX International, Safety and Health Expo and Service Management Expo meaning that you can also source security, fire, safety and health and service management solutions for the business while you are there.
- Includes an education programme for 2016 which will feature ‘real world’ talks delivered by FMs, as well as practical and strategic presentations by a few hand-picked industry experts.
Last years stand
For the 2nd year running, BPR Group will be exhibiting, and this year our plans are bigger and better! You’ll find us at P1100, right at the heart of the show. This year, we’re commissioning a recycled sculpture that will be created live on our stand. Over the course of the three days, you’ll see our tree blossoming as Michelle Reader uses waste collected from our customers, to create it. You can see some amazing examples of her work on her website.
In addition to the sculpture, we’ll be running a competition for you to guess how much recycling is being used in its creation. At the end of the show, we’ll be announcing the winner and awarding a mystery prize. We’ll also have some scrumptious recycling-themed cupcakes made by one of our very own account managers.
We’ll be releasing more details on our activities at the show closer to the time and you’ll be able to follow our activities on twitter @PaperRound. So, let us know if you’re going to be at the show and make sure you come along to see what wonderful things waste can turn into or try one of our delicious cupcakes!
