The Premises & Facilities Management Partnership Awards were set up to recognise partners which have achieved their business, property and FM goals through Partnership, Innovation, Achievement and Sustainability. In partnership with our friends from Derwent London, we were awarded finalist in the Partners in Waste Management category in 2019.

The Green Apple Awards were established in 1994 as an annual campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. In 2018, we partnered with four of our top customers:

Office Friendly is made up of 158 like-minded companies spanning across the UK. This award recognises our circular economy products, and how through these products the recycling and office supplies sides of the business are strengthened. Through this synergy our customers can see real value in our circular economy approach.

The Investors in Zero Waste Awards acknowledges companies who are working hard to eradicate waste. Businesses, like us, who are committed to zero waste and have employed dedication and innovation throughout their services.

This prestigious national awards programme recognises innovation and excellence within the waste management sector. Paper Round’s work with the Wellcome Trust was recognised as a finalist in 2016.

This prestigious national awards programme recognises innovation and excellence within the waste management sector. Paper Round’s IT Asset Disposal service was recognised as a finalist in 2015.

Paper Round won silver in the 2012 Zero Waste Awards. These awards celebrate companies efforts in the zero waste movement. The company won the award due to our closed loop recycling schemes and zero to landfill policies.

Recorra won a top prize at the 2011 prestigious Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Environmental Leadership Awards ceremony in London. The Company won the SME Premier Award for its comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS). Results included a 92% recycling rate, 100% diversion of waste from landfill and a reduction in electricity use at its warehouse by 30%.

In 2011 Recorra was highly commended in two of the City Sustainability Awards categories, Tackling Climate Change and Environmental Management in SMEs. It is a great honour to get recognition for our efforts from a such respected award. We will continue to work towards reducing environmental impact of our operations while helping our customers to manage their waste in the most sustainable way possible.
